Hojatoleslam Dr. Shamsollah Marigi, Associate Professor in the Social Sciences Department at Baqir al-Uloom University (PBUH), holds a PhD (Level 4) in Contemporary Muslim Thought from the Baqir al-Uloom Specialized Center (2007), an integrated Master's in Sociology from the Imam Khomeini Educational and Research Institute, and a Level Four hawza degree. His prominent executive roles include former President of Baqir al-Uloom University, Deputy for Research at the University, Director of the Sociology Group at the Al-Mustafa International University Research Institute, Director of the Contemporary Muslim Thought Group and Deputy for Education at the Islamic Propaganda Office, and Head of the University's Specialized Education Center. In addition to publishing 7 books such as "Secularism and the Social Factors of Its Formation in Iran" and "Sociological Explanation of the Karbala Event," and 17 articles in the fields of sociology, jurisprudence and principles, and Muslim social thought, he has focused on topics such as the Islamic Revolution, religious propagation, and historical sociology. Honors such as veteran status from the Zafar Operation (1985) and revolutionary activities from his teenage years are among the distinguished features of his record.
